Baglamukhi Puja Homa

The term Baglamukhi implies the 'Crane-headed' one, and the crane is considered as an essence of deceit. The Goddess Baglamukhi is popular for warding off and finishing her enemies with the use of magic. As her name suggests, she rules deceit and hence, can be considered as a Bhairavi (terrible) incarnation of Matrika Devi (the mother of all speeches). Baglamukhi is one of the ten significant Das Mahavidyas. A Baglamukhi Japa and Homa are specifically to be performed as prescribed by the Vedic rituals as this Puja, and Homa helps the devotee in conquering both their internal as well as external enemies, for example, Ahankar (ego or pride), Kama (lust), Lobha (greed), Krodha (anger) and Moha (attraction), etc. It is believed that performing this Japa and Homa enables the devotee or seeker to gain control over their negative thoughts and also over the external world. Devotees who worship and appease Maa Baglamukhi attain self-knowledge, strength, power, and the capability to lead the right path in life as blessings.
