Tripura Sundari Puja

If you're a devotee of Goddess Shakti, then you must be known to the Das Mahavidyas, who are the ten incarnations of Maa Shakti, just like the ten incarnations of God Mahavishnu. Tripur Sundari is also known as Mata Shodashi, who is one of the ten incarnations. Now the term Das Mahavidya refers to the ten Goddesses of wisdom, and the third Goddess from the series is Goddess Tripura Sundari. The series of the Das Mahaidyas can be enlisted as - 

Kaali, Matangi, Tripura Sundari, Bhuvaneshwari, Taara, Tripurbhairavi, Dhoomavati, Baglamukhi, Kamla, and Chinnamasta. 

Goddess Tripura Sundari is well known for her exotic beauty and power that is known to delight the senses and provoke emotional and intellectual admiration of all the three worlds, Aakash (sky), Dharti (earth), and Patal (hell). She is usually portrayed as a young 16-year-old girl and is believed to represent the sixteen various desires. She aptly fits her title as this divine figure of feminity owns all the renowned sixteen mystic powers. Worshipping and performing Puja and Homa for Tripur Sundari is known to be rewarded in the form of peace, beauty, joy, wealth, happiness, and harmony. 

The Goddess was entitled to the name Shodashi since she was the age of sixteen and continues to be the same. The name also knows her because she possesses the divine sixteen powers. As per ancient Vedic scriptures, Tripura Sundari is also believed to be the most important one of the Das Mahavidyas. Her companion is Mahadev (God Shiva) and is considered as the highest aspect of Goddess Shakti.

काली, मातंगी, त्रिपुर सुंदरी, भुवनेश्वरी, तारा, त्रिपुरभैरवी, धूमावती, बगलामुखी, कमला और छिन्नमस्ता।

देवी त्रिपुर सुंदरी अपनी सुंदरता और शक्ति के लिए जानी जाती है जो इंद्रियों को प्रसन्न करने और तीनों लोकों, आकाश (आकाश), धरती (पृथ्वी), और पाताल की भावनात्मक और बौद्धिक प्रतिनिधित्व के लिए जानी जाती है। उसे आमतौर पर 16 साल की एक युवा लड़की के रूप में चित्रित किया जाता है और माना जाता है कि वह सोलह विभिन्न इच्छाओं का प्रतिनिधित्व करती है। वह उपयुक्त रूप से अपने शीर्षक को प्रकट करती है क्योंकि स्त्रीत्व की यह दिव्य आकृति सभी प्रसिद्ध सोलह रहस्यवादी शक्तियों की शासिका है। त्रिपुर सुंदरी के लिए पूजा और होम करना शांति, सौंदर्य, आनंद, धन, खुशी और सदभाव के रूप में पुरस्कृत होने के लिए जाना जाता है।

देवी षोडशी नाम सार्थक है क्योंकि वह सोलह वर्ष की हैं। उनके पास दैवीय सोलह शक्तियाँ हैं। प्राचीन वैदिक शास्त्रों के अनुसार, त्रिपुर सुंदरी को भी दस महाविद्याओं में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता है। उनके साथी महादेव (भगवान शिव) हैं और उन्हें देवी शक्ति का सर्वोच्च पहलू माना जाता है।
